Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. (president: Hiroshi Hirano) announces its nonconsolidated financial results for the first nine months (April 1, 2002–December 31, 2002) of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, as shown in the attached documents.
Sompo Japan began reporting its nonconsolidated financial results on a quarterly basis from the third quarter of the current fiscal year to provide its shareholders with a more detailed disclosure of management information.
Please note that the amounts shown in the attached financial report are unaudited.
